Al Mukhtasar Ul Quduri By Abul Hussain Al Imam Ahmad Bin Muhammad. Abul Hussain is the surname of the author, while Ahmad is his name. He is popularly known as Imam Quduri. The author has discussed twelve thousand fiqh problems in this book.
The popularity of this book can be estimated by the fact that it has been read and taught for over a thousand years. Moreover, it features in all Islamic schools’ curricula, which means Allah accepts it. According to many scholars, if anyone is troubled or in sorrow, reading this book gets rid of that trouble or sorrow.
When Imam Quduri completed this book, he took it on the Hajj journey. After circumambulating the House of Allah, he prayed, “O Allah, I have written this book for You. If I have made any mistakes, please inform me about that.” After praying, when he opened the book, some problems were erased in five or six places. It turns out that these errors were eliminated through unseen help.
